This policy explains what personal data the realtimebets.com service collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers both RealTimeBets Play (the play-for-points game for fans) and RealTimeBets Platform (the live odds API and tools for licensed operators).
Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is the administrator of the realtimebets.com service. You can reach the administrator at [email protected] for any question about your data or this policy.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the service.
- Account data. Email address, a hashed password and your date of birth with the confirmation that you are 18 or older. We use the date of birth only to confirm your age.
- Game data. Your calls, the points you staked and won, multipliers at the time of each call, private leagues you create or join, alert preferences and game settings such as session reminders and self-exclusion.
- Platform data. The organisation name, team members and their roles, the licence record you store (licence number, regulator, country), API keys (we keep a hash, not the key itself), webhook addresses, risk settings and usage counts such as requests per billing period.
- Billing data. Plan, billing interval and subscription status. Card numbers are entered with the payment operator and never reach our servers.
- Technical data. IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, kept in server logs for security and troubleshooting.
- Support messages. What you write to [email protected].
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive data such as health information, political views or financial account details.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To create and run your account, the game and the Platform you signed up for (performance of a contract).
- To confirm that you are 18 or older (legal obligation and our legitimate interest in keeping minors out of the game).
- To bill subscriptions and keep accounting records (contract and legal obligation).
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and investigate incidents (legitimate interest).
- To send service emails such as login codes and plan changes (contract). We do not send marketing email without your consent.
Who receives data
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run realtimebets.com, under contracts that limit how they may use it. By category these are:
- a hosting provider in the European Union,
- a payment operator that processes subscription payments,
- an email delivery provider that sends login codes and service emails,
- a licensed sports data provider that supplies match events (it receives no personal data about fans, only our requests for match data).
We may disclose data when the law requires it, for example to a court or a regulator.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Our hosting is in the European Union. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
How long we keep data
- Account, game and Platform data for as long as your account exists, then up to 30 days to complete deletion from backups.
- Billing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Server logs for up to 90 days.
- Self-exclusion records for as long as the exclusion lasts, so we can enforce it.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing and to receive your data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Write to [email protected] from the email on your account. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Age
The service is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that a person under 18 created an account, we close it and delete its data.
Security
We protect data with encrypted connections, hashed passwords and API keys, access controls and audit logs for staff access. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your login email account safe.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters for how we use your data, we tell you by email before it applies.
