RealTimeBets Play is a game played for points. No money is wagered, points have no cash value, and they cannot be bought, transferred or exchanged. There are no prizes. Even so, a fast live game can take more of your time and attention than you intended. This page explains the tools we give you and where to find help.
Adults only
The game is for people aged 18 and over. At signup you give your date of birth and confirm that you are 18 or older. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we close it.
Our principles
- We never sell points and never let you pay to get more of them.
- We never offer prizes, cash or rewards for points.
- We never link to sportsbooks, show bonus codes or encourage real-money betting.
- We show the rules of every market in plain words before you make a call.
Tools in your account settings
Session reminders. Choose an interval of 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes. The game shows a reminder with the time you have spent playing in the current session.
Self-exclusion. Exclude yourself from the game for 1, 7, 30 or 180 days. During self-exclusion you cannot make calls or builder calls. A self-exclusion cannot be lifted early from your account. If you want a longer or permanent exclusion, write to [email protected] and we close the account. If you have an active Premium subscription, cancel it in the same settings so it does not renew.
Alerts. Premium alerts appear in your browser only for the market types you choose, and you can switch all of them off at any time.
If you cannot reach a setting, write to [email protected] from the email on your account and we apply it for you.
Signs that it is time to stop
- You play longer than you meant to, often.
- You feel restless or irritable when you are not playing.
- The game gets in the way of work, sleep, study or time with people close to you.
- You think about moving from points to real money to get the same excitement.
If any of these sound familiar, take a break or use self-exclusion.
Where to find independent help
If you are worried about your gaming or gambling, or about someone close to you, help is available free of charge and in confidence. Most countries have national problem gambling helplines and independent support organisations that offer phone, chat and in-person support, including for family members. A search for the problem gambling helpline in your country, or a conversation with your doctor, is a good first step.
For operators
Operators who use RealTimeBets Platform must run their own responsible gambling programme as required by their licence. The Platform gives them a maximum stake per customer, a maximum liability per market and automatic suspension of micro-markets after dangerous incidents, described in the Platform Terms.
